Founded in 2003 by a pioneering team of astrophysicists, engineers, and technologists in Silicon Valley, California, Alcyon Space Research & Technology envisions a future where space is the final frontier and a new horizon for humanity's growth and exploration. With a core focus on innovation, sustainability, collaboration, education, and integrity, Alcyon stands at the forefront of advancing humanity’s understanding and presence in the cosmos.
Challenge
Prior to revamping its visual identity, Alcyon faced significant hurdles stemming from an outdated and mismatched brand image that did not reflect its progressive approach to space technology. As a result, Alcyon suffered from diminished public awareness and engagement, as well as difficulties in communicating its impactful mission and values to a broader audience.
Solution
Sketchy Digital undertook the challenge of modernizing Alcyon's logo, aiming to create a consistent visual identity that encapsulated their innovative nature and drew inspiration from celestial elements. Our team put in an extensive effort to develop a cohesive brand aesthetic that improved public engagement and simplified the communication of Alcyon’s mission and values. This strategic refresh has effectively positioned Alcyon as a leader in the space industry, ready to inspire and connect with a broader audience.
