About

Able is a company dedicated to providing food that empowers people with a wide selection of protein snack bars and overnight oats with organic black oats — a unique and nutritionally superior grain known for its high antioxidant content. With a mission to promote overall well-being, from brain function to digestive health, Able’s products are designed to be of high nutritional value, free of gluten and GMO, plant-based and dairy-free. The company also has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, using eco-friendly practices in their operations.

Challenge

Able faced a few significant challenges. Their visual identity was inconsistent, making it hard for consumers to recognize and connect with the brand. The packaging design didn’t clearly highlight the unique benefits of sprouted oats or the added value of essential minerals and probiotics. Additionally, their website wasn’t engaging enough to turn visitors into loyal customers. Their marketing materials were inconsistent and uninspiring, which made it difficult for the brand to effectively tell the unique story of creating a healthy snack alternative, different from what’s already out there in the market.

Solution

At Sketchy Digital, we created a unified visual identity system for Able that really brings the brand to life. This included a modern logo, a dynamic color scheme, and distinctive typography that all reflect Able’s dedication to wellness and innovation. Our packaging design immediately grabs the attention with its vibrant colors and playful visuals while at the same time highlighting the benefits of sprouted oats and essential minerals. We also developed a user-friendly website that showcases their product range, with science-backed information on sprouted oats. We designed marketing materials thats consistently communicate Able’s brand positioning, resonating with the current generation health-conscious consumers.

Symbol of wellness

The new logo captures Able’s commitment to health, innovation and accessibility through a fun, sleek and modern design. The logo features the brand name in a smooth, rounded typeface that seems friendly and approachable. The simple blue dot at the end of the word “able,” symbolizes the brand’s key message of making the consumer feel more “able”, nothing more and nothing less.

The perfect match

The Outfit typeface is the key element of Able’s brand identity, being modern, approachable and playful. Its use reinforces Able’s idea to attract today’s health-conscious consumer.

Refreshment in shades

Able’s brand identity uses a color palette featuring accent blue, black, grey, beige, and white, showing innovation, balance, warmth, and clarity. The accent blue emphasizes freshness and commitment to health. Together, these colors form a cohesive and visually appealing identity that reflects Able's dedication to health and wellness.

Choose your flavor

Able's protein bars come in bright, colorful packaging that highlights each flavor. The packaging features playful illustrations of ingredients like berries, nuts, and cocoa, showing the bars' natural and healthy qualities. The colors are carefully matched to the flavors, with light pastels for the milder options and deeper shades for the richer ones, making it easy for customers to pick their favorite flavor.

Sprouted black oats & double blueberry

These bars, rich in antioxidants from sprouted oats and double blueberries, support immune health while offering a delicious snack. The purple, blue, and green packaging highlights the blueberry flavor and Able's focus on nutritious, appealing products.

Sprouted black oats & peanut butter

A vibrant yellow background with detailed peanut and leaf illustrations highlights the nutty taste and wholesome ingredients. Rich in healthy fats and protein, these peanuts make Able's snacks nutritious and full of energy.

Sprouted black oats & pecan cacao

The packaging features detailed illustrations of pecans, cacao pods, and green leaves, highlighting the rich, nutty flavor and deep taste of cacao. These visuals emphasize natural ingredients, reflecting Able's commitment to promoting wellbeing.

Sprouted black oats & chocolate chips sea salt

A warm beige background once again conveys simplicity and naturalness, aligning with the brand's focus on wholesome ingredients. Pops of blue highlight the added ingredient of salt to the well-known chocolate flavor, making it easier for the consumer to visually pick-up the taste of the snack bar.
